Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using cmh-soccer-academy.pages.dev (the “Site”) and any services provided by CMH Soccer Academy (“we,” “our,” “the Academy”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or services.
2. Services
CMH Soccer Academy provides youth soccer coaching services for players aged 7–14 in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Services include individual sessions, small-group training, and customized programs as described on the Programs page.
3. Registration
Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. By submitting a registration, you confirm that:
- You have the legal authority to register the listed minor
- All information provided is accurate
- You consent to your child participating in physical training activities
4. Payment and packages
Package prices are listed on the Programs page. The first trial session is free and carries no payment obligation. Paid packages are charged in advance of services delivered. Refund requests are evaluated case-by-case; unused sessions in a paid package may be refunded at the Academy's discretion if cancelled within 7 days of purchase.
5. Cancellation policy
Sessions cancelled by the player/family with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable and counted as completed. The Academy reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to weather, facility availability, or coach illness; rescheduled sessions are not charged additionally.
6. Assumption of risk and waiver
Soccer training involves inherent physical risk including but not limited to bruises, sprains, falls, and contact injuries. By registering, parent/guardian acknowledges these risks and waives claims against the Academy and Carlos Moreno Henao personally for injuries arising from normal participation, except in cases of gross negligence.
Players are expected to have any necessary medical clearance before participation.
7. Photo and video release
The Academy may capture photos or video during sessions for instructional and marketing purposes. We will not publicly publish a child's full name or close-up identifiable image without separate written parental consent. Parents may opt out of any photo/video usage by emailing carlosmhen@gmail.com.
8. Conduct
All players, parents, and staff are expected to maintain respectful and sportsmanlike behavior at all times. The Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate services in cases of harassment, repeated absences without notice, abusive conduct, or any behavior that endangers other participants.
9. Intellectual property
The Site, including its design, text, photographs, and methodology materials, is the property of Carlos Moreno Henao and CMH Soccer Academy. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit content without written permission.
10. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is.” We make no warranties about uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for any particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the Site or services.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of CMH Soccer Academy and Carlos Moreno Henao for any claim related to the services is limited to the amount you have paid the Academy in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Jackson County, Missouri.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. Material updates will be communicated to active families. Continued use of the Site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
