1. Who we are
CMH Soccer Academy (“we,” “our,” “the Academy”) is a youth soccer coaching service operated by Carlos Moreno Henao, based in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. You can reach us at carlosmhen@gmail.com.
2. What information we collect
When you use this website or contact us, we may collect:
- Form data — parent/guardian name, child's name, child's age, phone, email, city, package preference, and any notes you provide.
- Analytics data — pages visited, device type, country, referrer, and on-page interactions (clicks, scroll depth). This data is aggregated and anonymized.
- Communication data — messages you send via email, SMS/iMessage, or WhatsApp.
We do not collect children's data directly. All youth registration is initiated by a parent or legal guardian.
3. How we use your information
- To schedule and deliver coaching sessions
- To respond to your inquiries within 24 hours
- To send updates about your child's progress (with parental consent)
- To improve our website and services (via aggregated analytics)
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketing companies.
4. Third-party services
We use the following providers to operate the website and respond to inquiries:
- Web3Forms — processes form submissions and delivers them to our email.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymized website usage analytics.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless, privacy-friendly pageview tracking.
- Cloudflare Pages — hosting infrastructure.
- Notion — internal CRM for managing inquiries (lead pipeline).
Each provider has its own privacy policy. We have no control over data they collect independently of our service.
5. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies, primarily through Google Analytics 4 (which uses _ga* cookies to identify unique visitors). Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies. You can disable cookies via your browser settings without losing essential site functionality.
6. Data retention
Form submissions are retained for as long as the Academy relationship is active, plus 24 months for record-keeping. Analytics data is retained for 14 months. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see section 7).
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”) of your data
- Object to processing for marketing purposes
To exercise these rights, email carlosmhen@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We respond within 30 days.
8. Children's privacy (COPPA / under 13)
Our service is for players aged 7–14. We only accept inquiries and registrations initiated by a parent or legal guardian. We collect minimal information about minors (first name, age) and only as needed to schedule sessions. We do not display children's full names or photographs publicly without explicit written parental consent.
9. Security
This website uses HTTPS encryption, HSTS, Content Security Policy, and subresource integrity to protect data in transit. Form submissions are transmitted directly to Web3Forms over encrypted channels. We do not store credit card or payment information on this website.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active families directly.
11. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States.
